	04/2017 DIMITRIJ KADRNOZKA (CZ, 1923) Costa II 39,5 x 33,5” (100 x 85 cm) oil on canvas, golden wooden frame (3” depth) location: Los Angeles (from 04/30/2017) A complete presentation will be added on our website soon*. A brief biography bellow: In 1945 – 1950 he studied the Academy Of Arts, Arch. & Design and the Academy Of Performing Arts, both in Prague. In 1967 he was sent to Cuba to establish the new local academy of fine arts: Escuela Superior National De Arte – Cubanacan, Habana. For the first 4 years he worked there as a professor and for the next 3 years he ranked as a dean. He is dedicated to painting, graphics and film posters. His oil paintings are non-figural, abstract, colorful views of landscapes. His intention is to express the very beginning human feelings in a highly colorful way (motivation by a 7 years long stay on Cuba). Despite his high age, Kadrnozka is a very modern oriented artist, creating fresh fine artworks. He is one of the significant artists in Cuban and European recent history. His works will be presented at the following LA Art Show 2018!

In his works he concentrates on the smoothest details of every color transition. His main focus is on a portrait and a figure in general. Girls in the waterlilies are a perfect example of his natural talent to capture the colorful reality in the finest detail. His works will be presented at the following LA Art Show 2018!
