Igor Piacka was born in Třebíč. He graduated from the “Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava” where he currently lives and works. He further attended studies abroad in Brussels at the “Academie Royale des Beaux Arts”.

Igor specializes in figurative painting. His compositions consist of two or more people, often depicting a couple. He combines drawing and acrylic painting in high contrast to one another, vivid and colorful. Defiant colors are characteristic of his style, with an emphasis on red pigment.

 

Piackas subject is the harmony between two people, lovers, some also depict a conflict or argument, other’s target general social issues.
